Subscription Green Waste Program

Container placement guidelines for day of service is same as trash guidelines. Green Waste includes grass clippings, pine needles, leaves, weeds and branches that are no taller than the top of the container and no larger than 3 inches in diameter; untreated and unpainted lumber, sawdust, ground or chipped wood.

Green and Yard Waste is recyclable, so please do not contaminate with any of the following:

  • NO food waste(including fruits and vegetables)
  • No dirt
  • No tree stumps
  • No street sweepings
  • No animal waste
  • No logs
  • No old garden hoses
  • No Plastic or plastic bags
  • No cactus
  • No branches greater than 3" in diameter
  • No ashes
  • No treated lumber
  • No large tree limbs
  • No broken flower pots

You must use the Waste Management 96-gallon container and the container lid must be closed.

Yard Waste

Twice Annual Yard Waste Services

Yard waste is grass clippings, pine needles, leaves, weeds and branches that are no longer than 4 feet and no larger than 4 inches in diameter; untreated and unpainted lumber, sawdust, ground or chipped wood.

  • Yard waste may be placed at the curb on your designated day for the service in a container of your choice.
  • Branches may be bundled with string, yarn or rope – please do not use wire for bundling. Bundles should be 4” in length and no more than 2” in diameter.
  • Yard waste will be limited to 3 cubic yards per resident (an area that is approximately 4ft.x 4ft. x 4ft.).
  • Material not bundled, in compostable bags, or in containers will not be picked up.
